Dive Center Siquijor Island / Visayas...

Siquijor is a nice, small island located in the Central Visayas region and the third smallest province in the Philippines. During the Spanish colonial period this island was called "Isla del Fuego" ("Island of Fire") and Siquijor is still associated with mystic traditions.

Siquijor Island has more than 20 dive spots around the island and also (very small) a Marine Sanctuary (Tubod Marine Sanctuary - see also: Coastal Conservation and Education Foundation). Siquijor Island is (I think always) a stop, if you make a dive safaris (island hopping) in the Visayas. If you stay direct in a resort on Siquijor Island don't miss to make a day/overnight trip to Apo Island, what is known as one of the best dive sites in the world...

Princesa Bulakna Resort is located on Bulakna Beach on Siquijor Island. This beachfront property features a restaurant, karaoke facilities, and an outdoor pool overlooking the ocean. Free parking is provided.
Guests can reach the resort via a 70-minute domestic flight from Manila to Dumaguete, followed by an hour and 20 minutes’ ferry ride to the island proper. Princesa Bulakna Resort is 7.5 km away from the Cambugahay Waterfalls.
The air-conditioned rooms come with private balconies that offer garden or sea views. Each room has an en suite bathroom with shower facilities. Some rooms also have cable TV.
